Description
Our small Root Boot comes in red, yellow, and black.
The Root Boot comes in various sizes to accommodate different plant sizes and propagation needs.
Use the small Root Boot on branches up to 0.33” or 8.38mm opening (number 2 pencil is 7mm)
There are two models of the medium Root Boot, Type A & Type B. The opening on both is the same 0.60 inches. On the Type B, the 0.06 inches is maintained to the end of the splines. On the Type A, the opening starts at 0.60 inches, but then the splines narrow down to a smaller opening for a tighter fit in a smaller branch diameter. For example, you have selected the perfect branch, the five year outlook has this becoming the perfectly shaped tree. You want to start this plant off in a 3 gallon container, but the selected branch diameter is significantly smaller than 0.60 inches. Using the Type A will give tighter, more snug fit without using a tie wrap on the splines of a Type B.
The Large Root Boot should be used on branches larger that 0.60 inches, up to 1.75 inches.
